Santoor Maestro Pt Tarun Bhattacharya has been a pioneering and revolutionary musician who has changed the face of Indian classical music, he has been truly an unparalleled music ambassador of India. In this album, Pt. Tarun Bhattacharya renders a beautiful alaap, jor, jhalla, and gats in vilambit and drut teentaal accompanied by Enayet Hossain on tabla in Raga Rageshree. The album concludes with live recordings of two folk melodies (one in Raga Pahadi and one in Raga Kirwani) accompanied by Saleiman Azizi on tabla.
